A movie a day

A movie a day keeps mental infertility away.
Once again I have gotten into habit of watching a movie every night. So yesterday night I watched Parineeta-- an old overdue. Now the movie got me thinking on several direction, but due to time constraint I would just outline a few of them for my future reference.
Firstly, The storyline. Though I believe the treatment of the situation in the movie must be different from the novel, and I know nothing of the way the novel Parineeta has been written; but it still makes me think on relationship and write something on relationship.
Secondly, the kind and amount of reading that I have done in my life till now I can surely be labelled as an uneducated man, and it would be outrageous/illogical for me to make a statement I am going to make now . The thing is that I believe that Sharatchandra is among the finest writer ever born in all languages. That too on the basis of one novel - Shrikant- and two novella- I have forgotten the name but not the strory- I have read.
Now whenever I think of Shaatchandra, invariably I think of a comment of Sharatchandra on his most popular work, Devdas. Sharatchandra once said that he is ashamed that he has written Devdas. And this is a comment worth thinking over. Yes, I can think of the thought process that would have made him say something like this, and sometime I would like to say something on this.
